The Price we pay in pursuit of Passion

Greetings to all my readers.

I would like to extend my gratitude for your patience with my lack of recent updates– At the moment, I am currently sorting my archives while organizing my category list for better seo optimization. I figured, instead of updating my blog lay-out, I would focus more with my content and how I categorized things.

There has been a lot of great to fantastic news coming in my way and I’ve been preoccupied with all the small and large opportunities. Its been a crazy start of the year and so far– I’ve felt blessed to be able to get this far. However, like the title of this journal entry states, I am paying a fair price in the name of passion.

Right now,  there is only one thing that should matter to me– and that is to find balance in all of this opportunities. It has been a blessing to find such an amazing team and I could never find the right words to really express the gratitude that I feel right now. Then again, like all great things, there are certain consequences.

But, there is nothing to worry about– this is just me overthinking about everything. Nothing out of the ordinary and to which I am sure everyone also experiences.

And if this isn’t a situation that any of us would be able to often overcome, allow me to share the plan of action, in which I have decided would be the best course of action for my current situation.

  1.   I’m taking a week off from facebook, twitter, instagram after this blog post. The reason is pretty simple really. I figured, since I have been incapable of being sucked into a vortex of trivial banalities such as random post, comics/movie/manga updates and other wordly gossip which veers away from my original objective and goal before August 5th of this year.
  2. I’ll be polishing my manuscript for The First Riff novelette that I’ve been meaning to pass with one of my publishers this year. Hoping to finally let out my first official stand alone written piece. The editing phase and all the revisions that could probably come up won’t be easy and there is just so much to do on my plate with so little time.
  3. Tracking my health a bit before my body gives up on me. I’ve been taking myself for granted lately and it ain’t going to be pretty if I keep up this pace. I’m pretty sure its not going to be a pretty sight if I end up failing everyone’s expectations– let alone my own expectation of my vision for success.

These are the three steps I’ve devised in order to regain some sort of momentum from all the distraction and neglected work I’ve done for the past couple of weeks. Its been a crazy ride and I’m sure it’ll get crazier from here on forwards.

In the meantime, as you wait for my current and latest post updates.
